GLOSSARY
Composite Fillings
Filling (COMPOSITE) tooth-colored
Dental Composite is glass or quartz filler in resin medium that comes in many shades. Requires to remove less tooth structure since it is bonded  with an adhesive to the left healthy tissues. It is more technique-sensitive to be applied and not recommended in areas difficult to keep dry during restoration.
Amalgam Fillings

Filling (AMALGAM)
Amalgam is an alloy of mercury, silver, tin, copper and other metals. One of the most tested restorative material, is durable and easy to use so remains a valued treatment option for non esthetic areas. Requires to remove more tooth structure to be applied and its Mercury content is rising concern.
